Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning

We are offering a postdoc position in machine learning (2 years) at the Center for Applied Autonomous Sensor Systems (AASS, http://www.oru.se/aass) at Örebro University in Sweden. The position is based on a new and growing research group focused on machine learning with currently 8 PhD. students working on reinforcement learning, transfer learning, robot learning, optimization, and fundamental ML topics.

This position is supported by the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP, https://wasp-sweden.org/) and is part of our strategic effort to expand machine learning research at the center. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with our team of Ph.D. students and researchers, as well as with our external collaborators. Experience or interest in probabilistic machine learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, optimization, and robotics are advantageous for this position.

We are looking forward to working with a new team member on the following topics: Gaussian process, continual learning and dataset shift, interpretability, reinforcement learning, and transfer learning for RL.
