The Artificial Intelligence and Medical Simulation (AIMS) lab, part of the Center for Assessment in Surgical Proficiency at UT Southwestern Medical Center is working on innovations in surgical training and education through the application of deep learning for automated assessment of performance, intraoperative feedback, and integration of these in physical, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) simulators to improve skill training and assessment.

We are currently looking to fill multiple positions in the lab (Postdoc, Data Scientist and Research Scientist).
