We invite applications for a post-doc position studying the cortical control of free viewing eye movements at UCLA. The work will include recording from the frontal eye field and superior colliculus as well as inactivation experiments in LIP and FEF. UCLA is growing its visual neuroscience footprint and now is an exciting time to be in Los Angeles.

Applicants should have a strong background in systems neurophysiology, behavioral training, or computational neuroscience and be comfortable working independently on all aspects of the project. Previous experience with NHP recording, the use of open source recording systems, and data analysis are desirable. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, or a related discipline.

The position is initially for 12 months with the possibility of renewal. Compensation will be commensurate with relevant experience.
