the Department of Computer Science of the University of Bari "Aldo Moro"
offers a 3-years position as researcher (RTD-A) for the scientific
sector INF/01 on the topic

"Operationalization of legal and ethical acceptability of Symbiotic AI
applications"

The research activity, in line with themes of both the PNR 2021-2027 and
the PNRR project FAIR -  Future AI Research, spoke 6 - Symbiotic AI,
will be focused on the operationalization of legal and ethical
acceptability of Symbiotic AI applications, research theme of WP 6.5,
with particular reference to the study, the synthesis, and the
experimentation of operational definitions for the high-level principles
that define the legal and ethical acceptability of Symbiotic AI (SAI) in
order to make them of practical relevance for the design and
implementation of SAI applications, and to enable for them a (partial)
automation of the compliance tests by applying reasoning techniques
and/or formal methods.
