Technologist position at the University of Parma, Italy, Department of
Engineering and Architecture.

Description
22-month appointment starting around early November 2022. Applications

Duties:
Provide technical support to a project in setting up a data analysis
service infrastructure aimed at food quality analysis from data coming
from spectrometers.
 From a development viewpoint, develop tools to provide easy access to
the analysis results.
 From a research viewpoint: develop machine learning / AI methods for
analyzing data.

Competitive salary: about 1700 euros/month net (13 monthly payments/yr,
December wages are doubled) + retirement contributions

Requirements:
EU citizenship or refugee status
Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, Ph.D. in
related topics a plus.
Practical knowledge of Italian.

Technical Skills:
Programming experience in Python, C++, and mobile app development
environments.
