(Level A) $72,829 - $97,927 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply
This is a fixed term role available from November 2022 for 18 months, with a flexible start date up to January 2023.

This is an opportunity for a high-achieving postdoctoral researcher to join a world-leading research group within the area of computer security and cryptography. In this role you will design, develop, implement, and assess tools and procedures for secure implementation of cryptographic primitives. The position will support our research program to improve hardware and software security and promote secure designs.

To be successful you will need:

• Completion of a PhD in Computer Science or a similar discipline
• Evidence of technical experience in cryptography and/or security
• A strong track record of quality research as evidenced by publications in top-tier (CORE A/A*) venues in the area of cryptography and/or security
• High level organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and manage workload and meet competing deadlines
• Strong work ethics and the ability to work well independently and as a member of a team
• Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion
