Prize Fellowship in Machine Learning at the University of Bath, UK

The University of Bath is inviting applications for its Prize Fellowships program. The program is aimed at strengthening and developing existing research excellence in the Faculty of Science. The University of Bath is welcoming applications across 13 research areas and will make 6 appointments, with one of the research areas being Machine Learning. The Prize Fellowship offers early-stage researchers the opportunity to join a cohort of like-minded rising research stars. These two-year research fellowships are part of a scheme that is intended to fast-track fellows to a permanent appointment at Bath. The fellows will have the opportunity to conduct high-quality research, build international research links, contribute to advanced undergraduate teaching and supervision, promote research in the discipline, and engage with the public.

The Department of Computer Science is home to the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Accountable, Responsible, and Transparent AI (ART-AI). ART-AI offers a unique interdisciplinary doctoral training approach that brings students from computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering and technology, and humanities and social sciences together in interdisciplinary teams with ML researchers and leading researchers from across the university and partners.
